My wife Krystal came to know the Lord when she was 17 years old in her hometown in Segamat. She cycled to church without her parents knowing. One day, there was a flood in her hometown and she could not go home. Her parents came to know about it and they were not happy and disallowed her from attending church service. She hid herself under the blanket to read the bible.
After her SPM, she came to KL to work as a sales assistant and other clerical works. As a teenager, her dream is to visit many countries to see the nice sceneries, to taste foreign food and to experience their cultures. So she thought of being a tour guide so that she can travel around to many places. With the thought of missing church service, she decided not to pursue the career. Instead, she took up accounting. She did her LCCI Intermediate level and then the Advanced level. She attended a church in KL and was water baptized when she turned 21. When she was in KL, her father went to see her pastor asking the pastor to advise her not to attend church. The pastor advised her dad that it is her faith in God which he could not stop her.
Looking back after some many years, God knows Krystal’s desire for travelling. With humility, we are proud to share here that Krystal had been to USA for four times already including Alaska, Disneyland in LA, Disney World in Orlando, Washington DC, Miami, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Niagara Fall etc. We have spent Christmas and New Year countdown at Times Square, NY. The Lord had brought us to visit a lot of mega cities around the world together with our sons, Bryan and Lawrence.
When we are willing to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things shall be added onto us. We always seek God by faith in all our important decision making in the areas of career, ministry works, children’s education, investment etc.
Brothers and sisters, it is our prayer for you to seek God’s plan in all your decisions making. Our Heavenly Father truly know what is best for us. We have walked a long journey and we are thankful for His presence with us through the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit who is our wonderful counselor. Put your faith in Jesus and have hope in Him too.
