Testimony – Forgiveness
April 28, 2025

Shalom! Pastors, Brothers, Sisters! Today, I want to share how Jesus has changed my life and how we can experience true abundance in Him.
For the longest time, I thought having an “abundant life” meant having more—more fun, more freedom, more gadgets. You know, the dream: owning my own phone, playing games whenever I wanted, scrolling through social media like everyone else. But nope, in my house, I was only allowed to play games for 30 minutes on weekends. Can you imagine? THIRTY. MINUTES. That’s not even enough time to warm up!
And of course, being the “genius” I thought I was, I found ways to sneak in extra game time. I’d wait until my parents weren’t around, grab my device, and game like my life depended on it. Until… they found out.
It led to constant arguments, scoldings, and a lot of frustration. My parents were mad, I was mad, and home started to feel like a battleground. I felt so distant from them. But the worst part? Even though I was playing all the time, I still felt… empty. Like, I had all this fun, but at the end of the day, something was still missing.
That’s when God stepped in. I started realising I couldn’t fix this mess on my own. My parents had been praying for me (like, hardcore praying! and slowly, God began to change my heart. Today, I’m free from my addiction—not because I suddenly became super disciplined, but because God helped me through it. And now? I actually enjoy life more with my family, because I know Jesus is with us.
A full life isn’t about having the latest iPhone, unlimited WiFi, or a gaming setup that looks like a NASA control centre. It’s about knowing Jesus, having peace, and living with purpose.
At this year, me and family decided to read the Bible study together I realised that real abundance isn’t about what we have—it’s about who we have. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” That full life isn’t just about blessings; it’s about knowing Him, having peace, and living with purpose.
Nothing in this world can truly satisfy us. Not games, not social media, not even having the “perfect” life…… only Jesus can.
Glory to Jesus!
(John 10:10)
