Testimony – Who Can Truly Satisfy Us?
May 26, 2025

I am Brella, 14 years old. I want to share my testimony with you.
Last year, I participated in a piano competition. Every day leading up to the event, I practiced for 1 to 2 hours. I was extremely nervous and scared because my piano teacher had warned me that if I didn’t get gold, she would cane me.
On the day of the competition, my performance was scheduled for 4 o’clock. Before leaving, I practiced for another hour. On the way there, I prayed and asked God to give me peace in my heart—and He did.
However, as soon as we arrived, my heart started beating faster and faster. When it was my turn to perform, I began confidently, playing with energy and focus. But suddenly, my mind went blank. I completely froze and stopped playing. Panic set in. I glanced at my father, then back at the piano, feeling lost.
Then, something unexpected happened. One of the judges signaled for someone to show me my music score. With that small glimpse, I regained my composure, restarted my piece, and finished the performance. After bowing, I returned to my seat, and tears rolling down my face—I had never felt so embarrassed in my life.
I thought my mom and piano teacher would scold me because they looked so fierce. When the awards were being announced, I was certain I wouldn’t win anything. But then, to my surprise, they called my name, and I received a bronze trophy!
All glory to God! Even in my failure and weakness, He showed me His grace. This experience taught me that no matter how things turn out, trusting Him brings peace, and He can turn even our mistakes into blessings.
